How do we obtain your personal data?

Salt Yachting holds data about you because you have provided it to us, and because Salt Yachting has obtained data from other parties. These other parties may include: banks, search engines, Google Analytics, or partner companies.
What are your rights?

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have several rights regarding your data and its processing:

Access

You can always view and, if necessary, modify your own personal data in your account. If you wish to see the personal data Salt Yachting has recorded about you, you can request access via info@saltyachting.nl.
Modification

If you wish to make changes to the personal data you have seen following an access request, and you cannot make these changes yourself in your account, you can submit a request to Salt Yachting. You may request that Salt Yachting modifies, corrects, supplements, deletes, or restricts your data.

Restriction of processing

You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request that Salt Yachting restricts the processing of your personal data.

Right to object

If a particular processing takes place based on the ‘legitimate interest’ of Salt Yachting or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing.

Data portability

You have the right to obtain your personal data from Salt Yachting. Salt Yachting will provide this data in a structured and commonly used format, which can easily be opened in other standard digital systems. In this way, you can also transfer your data to another provider.

Withdrawal of consent

This does not affect any processing that took place before withdrawal but means we will no longer be permitted to process those data. As a result, Salt Yachting may no longer be able to provide certain services to you.
Response by Salt Yachting

A request can be sent to info@saltyachting.nl. Salt Yachting will respond to your request as soon as possible, and in any case no later than one (1) month after receiving it. If Salt Yachting denies your request, we will explain the reason for the refusal in our response.

Recipients of personal data

The data may be transferred to:

Salt Yachting may be legally required to share your data with third parties, for example due to a statutory obligation.

What are cookies and how does Salt Yachting use them?
